IK Multimedia iRig 2 HD and Amplitube 4 as Effects Processor
I have IK Multimedia iRig 2 HD and Amplitube 4 which I use for effects and plug into Fender Twin reverb.
I can get some very nice modulated sounds and delays out of it.
As I only have an analogue distortion pedal and I was never into effects so far, I wonder if it is worth getting hardware pedals like the digital Electric Mistress, or any other pedal that is digital? Would they offer me any improvement in sound quality over what I am getting with this setup now?
I also wonder if analogue pedals would sound better?
Does anyone have experience with both?
