So long as the loop isn't designed by a man in Scotland then you should be fine. I think the haggis batter fouls the connections.

ok i thought i would revisit this. I actually have both 100w head versions, EL34 and 5881. I find on their own they sound great on the lead channel. I use this for rhythm and lead. In band situation it sounds too thin. I always end up changing to the clean channel with the gain full but although it isn't thin it just isn't aggressive enough. At band level (3 or 4 out of 10) it sounds choked and i find i have to attenuate so much to get it to its sweet spot that it sucks too much tone. BTW i use a 1960a cab from the late 80s with G12T75s. I heard these speakers were designed for loud volume so maybe I'm not pushing them enough.....or I'm using the wrong speakers perhaps.
