This thread needs a pic of @Modellista 's Boss mini-board that did sterling duty at Huddersfield recently ...
    Good shout.

This came together after I realised I had a enough Boss pedals to pick out a nice little board, which covered all the bases with the minimum of fuss.  The chorus is just a classic sound, nails the big Guns 'n Roses humbucker chorus sound.  The phaser is needed occasionally, there's a load of different sounds in there.  The OD-1X covers a lot of bases.  Yes it's digital, but that makes it more versatile in my opinion, it really does seem to keep a clarity at higher gain levels that can be lost in  more traditional pedals, and it cleans up nicely with the volume control.  Silver screw is a cheeky touch.  And the DM-2w is simply gorgeous.  There's not a bad sound in it.  I need to connect an expression pedal and make some crazy noises!

Pedaltrain Nano, no velcro and colour coded patch cables FTW.

I did have a thought of doing another one, maybe with a distortion, digital delay and possibly a pitch shifter for a more wacky board.

PS Don't mind the jizz on the table.

Am I the only one who hates the silver screw? I had one on a BB-1X as well, changed it for the proper black one! Same with an early CE-2.

The colour-coded patch cables is something I would do as well :).

So they fit closer together ;). Very neat.

I hate the silver screw too. My first “modern vintage” (lol) pedal was a silver screw DS1 I bought used in around 1998. before my nerd status was duly attained (2005), i assumed the previous owner had put their own thumb turn on, so I bought a “proper” black one from Roland to match my chorus and tremolo so I threw the silver one away when the new one arrived....

I'm very liking the colour matched cables.

Boss stuff is great. Not a fan of the distortion pedals but the ph1r and cs1 are two pedals i regret shifting.
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

Very nice, but how do they stay in place with no Velcro?

I saw the mock up of it somewhere, also got excited for a second.
They'd have to do a good job on it now if they do, to compete with volante

I'm guessing screws. Remove two diagonally opposite screws from the pedal, drill holes in the pedalboard, and refit using longer screws of the same thread... that's how I do all mine. Rock-solid.
