Does anyone know what guitar he used on Life Is Golden on The Blue Hour album?

If I had to guess I'd say he is using his Jazzmaster at least for the intro.

With effects and processing it could be anything though.  Seems more Fendery than Gibsony though...

Fairly sure when I saw them in November he barely switched from his ES-355, including for Life is Golden.

From what I've read of him, he uses all sorts in the studio and his ES355 live.

My wife is a life long diehard, so I've seen them many many times in the last 15+ years. Last gig was at Hammersmith Apollo (on this album's tour), and I would say it was probably the best suede gig I've been to. Really fantastic live band. So I definitely recommend seeing them.

They are touring in April.

I have tickets to see them in Manchester in April. Definitely one of my favourite bands.

Do post if you find a source of tickets, they are playing there on my birthday and it was marked as sold out before I could buy any!!

My very slim claim to fame, my brother is in the video for the drowners, not that much of a claim, he was in the fan club and it was a crowd shot at the fan club gig.

But still : )

Any Suede connection is pretty cool.

One of the best bands of the 90s for me.
