Dodgy pedal or cable issue?

Discovered an intermittent issue with my pedalboard last night where it cut out intermittently for 10 secs or so, I have noticed this before and thought it was my old OD-1 but I just put it down to static or interference. It’s difficult to put into words but it’s sounds like a dying battery in a pedal, scratchy and crackly then the sound fades and cuts out a little. Any tips on where to start? As always help greatly appreciated. Both instrument cables seem good straight into amp bypassing pedalboard.

Clean the jacks first, bit of Servisol ten on a jack plug, shove it in and out a few times. If it fixes it, be happy.

I had the same issue a while ago. Turned out to be a dry solder joint in one of my patch cables.
