WTB: Klein electric guitar

Got one for "cheap"about ten years ago, lorenzo german era with 2 HB sized single coil.
Sold it as I wanted a "rock" guitar I would'nt mind taking out to gigs etc..
I'm now thinking it might have been a perfect guitar for me.

any owner willing to get rid of theirs on here a the moment?
Looking for a headless, H/H with either trans or S trem.

People seem to want crazy money for used ones these days, although I suppose the current miserable situation might force asking prices down eventually. I'd be tempted to contact him about a new one – at least to find out how long the build time is.

Kleins are so rare, and expensive.

But, if it's the ergonomics you like, this headless might be worth a punt, not much too loose.

The bridge on that Chinese copy is very heavy, and doesn’t work particularly smoothly. The headpiece is moulded from the same cheap alloy, and doesn’t hold the thinner strings unless you force the screws down hard enough to deform the thread inside the block.

Yes, this is true.

I have the "OverLord of Music" bridge on a cheap china Strandberg copy kit, it is heavy, but works fine if lubricated before using.

The "OverLord of Music" bridge is a direct copy of the steinberger.

The headpiece with lock nuts works ok, there are two methods for string clamping on the headpiece, if you clamp the strings with the small grub screw string clamps first and then only use the string locking nuts last, (don't over tighten these). The thinner string clamps best if another piece of thicker guitar string is used in the same hole.
