What delay with tap tempo and a dotted eighth function that won't break the bank?

I've already got an El Cap but need a second delay with tap tempo and dotted eighth (I know you can set delays to do the dotted eighth thing without the specific function but I don't want the hassle).

I guess about £120 max budget.

Anything out there?

Tc alter ego although the tap temp is a bit of a pain, hold button down and strum the tempo

A used TC Nova delay will do the job.
Tomorrow will be a good day.

    DD7.
Job done! Didn't realise that you didn't need an external switch (going by my old DD3) so that's sorted. Thanks!

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    Line 6 M5
Loved my M5, especially the delays, but the reliability was awful. Would switch itself off sometimes when stepped on, or wouldn’t switch on sometimes. Always have me anxiety during a gig.

I believe the Line 6 Echo Park gets most of the M5 sounds but with increased reliability. Never used one but heard good things

NUX Atlantic? Tap tempo ( Smart Tap - so same button for bypass as tap), subdivisions and you get reverb thrown in. Has had some nice comments on here.
Although looking up the page you are getting a DD7.

Yes, I was going to suggest the Nux Atlantic too. It's surprisingly good! I got one for my smaller, back-up board and it does a very decent job of covering what I need the El Cap to do as well as fulfilling reverb duty.

I also had reliability issues with my M5 the Echo Park was much better but useless live (fiddly little knobs and unreadable text on a dark stage) I have a Trex replay box which I like the sound of but the switches are too close to the knobs so it's off the live board and I am looking at getting a Flashback 2. Yes you need a separate switch for tap tempo but I have a boss one kicking around.
    Don't touch that dial.

Interesting. Never had issues with my M5, with the exception of trying to power it with a power bank which couldn't reliably provide the current. Switched to a Fame monster of a power supply and no problems at all.

I previously had an Echo Park and it was phenomenal, though it crapped out after 5 years of heavy gigging and is completely unrepairable due to the design.
