Will a Fender neck fit a G &L Body?

Curious to know if for example a Fender Tele neck would fit a G&L Tele body? Same with respective Strats?

Fender 22 fret 25.5” scale length necks employ an overhang. 

G&L 22 fret necks do not have the overhang. The pocket is cut further towards the bridge.

Thus, a Fender Telecaster neck would fit, sort of, but, with the scale length set correctly, there would be a gap of almost 10mm beneath the Fender fingerboard overhang.
