With smaller twin engine aircraft able to service long haul flights you no longer need large hub airports, it means smaller airports are able to offer those routes. If we want to move away from London being the main business hub we should be expanding east Midlands, Manchester, Exeter, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow airports. With fast (hyperloop?) connections. HS2 to me is not radical enough.

Things are not looking good for Boeing. Just when you think everything is out in the open, something else gets dug up. And there is still no sign of when the MAX will fly again.

You won't get me on one.  Mind you, I'm flying on its predecessor, the NG, in a couple of weeks - the ones with cracks in the wing mountings (pickle forks)!
