No, it's liberating, you don't notice any additional knocks at all so it's a very relaxing experience to play.

The ageing looks very good.

I bought an early '68 a few years ago after spending a year chasing after every one that came up for sale. If it had weighed 8.5 lbs I might have kept it.....

I deliberated long and hard over which one to go for and would love the Custom as well but that's not going to happen, not this year, not now.

That's nice, the finish on yours looks a lot shinier than mine. How do you like the sound of the P90s?

I love them. They’re the stock Gibson pickups and they sound similar to the P90s in some 1950s Juniors and Specials that I’ve played.

Randall, by chance do you have any actual neck depth measurements? I would be curious to see how it compares to both the R0 and an R9.
