He's really good at demonstrating how easy the UI is. Actually on the unit aswell, not just a PC screen mimic

Hmmm, makes the Stomp a no-brainer purchase even for a small board...

    Great video.

    Great video.
Got to admit I'm a lot happier with the Stomp and pedals than I was with the LT (which is still great).
It's hard to move away from the Helix versatility and nice to get back to pedals, so the perfect mix for me.

Saw this the other day, seems like such a useful unit to have around. Should be getting one in a few months.

    A great demo and sound.

Does anyone know what the two red pedals are that he uses for overdrive and distortion?

I haven't touched EQ on mine and only had a few days to program a full gig.
Now I'm gonna do an extended A/B between the Stomp and a direct sinal to try and match both. I did that when I bought the MS-3 and had to mess a bit with the EQ.

just did a direct test vs HX again, and there is a definite loss of output and high end with the HX in the chain. I tried it with a buffer in front and it didn't solve the problem. I think i'd want to use a small switcher to keep it out of the chain when i don't need it.

What about the DSP bypass as opposed to hardware bypass?

i will try it, but it takes up a footswitch...

Mine is always on with a slap back but yesterday I noticed how different it sounds when it's bypassed!
Messed a bit with the input impedance and it's better but there's something on the mid range that I lost and can't get back.
    The global eq didn't help.
