Oh, FFS. Now the mother-in-law's dog (we've got him because she's going in for heart surgery on Tuesday) has just cut his tail quite badly on a thorn in the garden.

Ah, bless him. So sorry to hear the news. It's terrible to lose our little friends when they go, but it's some comfort to know that you gave them the best of lives. That's not much help now at the moment, of course, and I feel your pain. :-(

We sometimes forget how long these dogs live...that video's from 2011, when he was already seven. Believe it or not, I randomly found it on an SD card in one of our drawers about five minutes ago when looking for something else.
