Just seeing what's knocking about at the very low end of the scale for a back up axe - I'm thinking beaten up partscasters and the like. Something grungey or messed up would pique my interest. Will be playing hard rock on it. Saw a 80's Yam SE110 on fb the other day but it seems to have vanished, that would have done the trick nicely.

But let's see what you got!

Got a rally explorer you can have for £100 if you want to pick it up, reasonable nick, set neck - Its got a SD Distorion I think that I will take out, or leave in for an extra £35 - I'm in Essex. - Oh its black, bound body and neck I think. Looks cool and you could cut the headstock back to look more hockey stick if you wanted.

I'm in Huddersfield and have an Adam Black Orion double cut with ebony board and Asbo pickups you can have for a hundred ish...it's worth more but they're a bugger to sell as nobody knows them.

@Legionreturns - nice! What are the asbos like? Got a case for it?

The pickups are quite hot. Tonally, I'd put it somewhere near SG territory. Quite crunchy but more treble than a LP. 

I don't have a case, but it is in a decent gig bag although I'd want something for it at the price we're talking about. 

You're welcome to pop over and try it though. I'm not far from the M62.

@jake_the_pake ; sorry for the late reply! It's the design of the guitar, it's pre burned and cracked paint that's been lightly lacquered. Really unique finish! Interested? Need rid!
