Surprised this hasn't already been posted, but thought there'd be interested parties among you; Millimetric now have a UK stockist. I dont even like guitars anymore and I still want one

Sold everything but the Jaguar. Synths just inspire me much, much more. I’ve kept my amp, a few select pedals and the ol’ girl for recording purposes, but everything else has gone.... and I’ve no regrets. 

Plus, synths are expensive.

Actually to be honest I don't really like the look of the non-offset ones anyway, but it's nice to see someone doing something a bit different, and well.

I remember seeing their website once, it must have been linked on here or one of the other fora I frequent.

What was interesting about that video is how it was advertised with an electro synth track instead of guitar sounds.

Someone's going to tell me they're MIDI now, aren't they...

They’ve not - there’s demos coming, this is just a “we now stock Millimetric” type thing.

You're not the target market - only people who looking at guitars as they pan slowly past and have no cables to their style based pedalboard can apply......

I really like this. I don’t know James at all but it seems like he’s trying to carve out a bit of a niche for himself by specialising in off beat guitars so good for him. 

I’d like to know how it sounds and try one out - does the design aesthetic lend itself to playability would be my question?

as previously mentioned, there are proper demo vids coming - this is an intro video. If you look at HoT other videos, the demos are thorough and concise.

Thanks for sharing this Gavin, and thanks again for the soundtrack to it, even after listening to it a million times editing the video together I still love it haha!  Couldn’t have hoped for anything better for this visual advert, read my mind for it. 
As per the caption/description to the video, this was made simply to announce the guitar arrived and show some of its design points, trying to do something special for this special instrument and moment for my humble business. Not intended as a demo video needless to say, those will follow and I’m planning a selection of videos in different styles. The information on the video was to inform those interested it is available to come and try with the details on how to do so. There is absolutely loads of information about MM on the website shown on the video, model run downs, interviews with the maker, features on the models and the build thread for the dry guitar featured. Hopefully that helps anyone concerned with lack of info
haha and apologies for me knee, didn’t plan the walk in shot, but went for it on the day. Sadly had my ‘crawling on knees whilst playing with my toddler son’ jeans on.
