NSD - New Strap Day

Following on from the recent Hesitercamp thread, I just thought I’d post about my own recent experience.

I’d been aware of Heistercamp for a while, and always fancied one of the straps but couldn’t ever bring myself to splash out on one - they are expensive, obviously. However having recently splurged on a new Telecaster, I thought “why stop there?”

I knew I wanted a brown strap, was a bit unsure about which shade so I emailed the guys and asked for their opinion on what would go well with a Sonic Blue body and rosewood neck. I got a smashing response, and the guys at Heistercamp kindly offered to send me out some samples to get a feel for the different tones. Already impressed with this level of service, I knew I’d definitely be buying one!

The samples arrived promptly, with an excellent hand-written note advising of what each sample was. It was still a struggle to decide on which one was best!

Finally, I made my mind up and placed my order. The following 10 days were about the longest 10 days of my life, waiting on the strap being made to my spec! Well worth the wait though, and the product just oozed class from the second I opened the parcel! Absolutely superb service and stunning product!

Beautiful thing that, nice packaging too. Mind you, with all those buckles and bits of metal, it’s a good thing your Tele is already reliced!

This was definitely a factor. I can only fit the guitar in the case with the strap attached, if I lay the strap over the top of the body too, so definitely a good job it's already beat up

Looks like a great match.  Sounds like superb service as well.  Wish I'd thought of asking for some samples when I was looking.
