Sorted: Gretsch G5420 or G5422

Got to to play quite a few Gretsches and was pleasantly surprised by the recent  electromatic hollowbodies. 

Wondering if anyone has any to sell in London area. Of course I could be tempted by a MIJ item including centre blocks (broadcasters are cool) but mostly looking for hollow ones.

I prefer to buy from the forum as the guys here are genuinely nice.

oh and I got a Rickenbacker 360 looking to sacrifice for something more posh.

I've been thinking about letting my 5420T go - love to look at it but it doesnt really get used. Let me know if any interest!

Sorry I forgot to amend this thread. I am now sorted on the electromatic side of things. Got a lovely G5129.

Still itching for a G6120-59 or setzer/Cochran though

I have to say that I liked it better than some players editions I tried. Probably need to check my hearing but I really like it and @Marlin has been an invaluable source of advice and super patient with all my Gretsch queries.

He might have passed me the Gretsch virus ...

Everyone loves these and they are only becoming rarer by the day. My first Gretsch was a 5127, the most gorgeous guitar I’d ever seen.

The late model 512X models are very well regarded. 

How good a guitar is has little to do with its price point or country of manufacture
