    Clamps are off!!!! And the board is staying on!!!!

    making the edges of the wenge board fit the handle!!!.



    Time to radius the board... the old fretboard had a 20”radius... don’t have a 20”radiusing block so had to go a bit old school... beams and a radius gauge used to get the board where it needed to be!...





    Bit of oil and it looks lovely...





    Time to flare the top of the metal line holding slots...



    Metal lines all cut to length...



    Time to press the buggers in..



    Here they are before levelling 



    Now why go through all of this?

    the next pic should explain why this fix needed to happen.



    Just look at it now...





    All this because no one else would take on the work... and that included some very well known techs in the London area!!!!!
