Sun = acoustic out

My Taylor 114ce has been in its gigbag unplayed the whole winter. However this glorious weekend has seen its first outing of the year. What is about warm sunny weather that makes me want to play acoustic? I only seem to acoustic in the summer, anyone else the same?

I took my Martin HD28 out in the sun yesterday morning and played on the garden bench. I forgot how quiet acoustics sound outside when there's no walls to reflect the sound.

I had a little strum on the Eastman E10ss on Friday evening, sitting on our top decking after a BBQ and a couple of glasses of wine. It does sound quiet outside.
