David Pym. He seems to specialise in mint or near mint guitars. He knows his stuff so no reason to query it’s veracity.

Yes, I would think so. I'm surprised to see him on Reverb, I must admit - he did say that appearing on there was more than his reputation was worth, although that was a couple of years ago, and some of those guitars have been in stock for a while. He's got some excellent stuff, admittedly at 'all the money' and then some!

No way of knowing short of removing the neck, date of birth should be stamped on the end close to the body

This is the guitar, He bought it at the G&H auction last March. Ive played it and handled it. It is a pretty clean guitar. In the auction all the juniors and epiphone models came form the same owner who i think owned them all from new. IMO though the 60 junior played better than this single cut.

aha should have done my research and checked out his online shop, seems like a  well established dealer. Very interesting to see what he paid for it. Geez vintage juniors are getting expensive, would love one but prices going crazy!

He also once said that he didn't ship his guitars, it was collection only. That seems to have changed too.
