    Some nice ‘Occasional’ Hammond/keys on this recording I think? was it Dave Eringa? It’s so stripped back and pure sounding and non of those shitty boring string arrangements or backing tracks that they do now. I don’t think I can hear Richey’s guitar though.

    Yes it was Dave Eringa. Richey's guitar was generally mixed fairly low to start with back in the day. 93-94 were obviously bad times for him psychologically and apparently there were times when his guitar was mixed far far lower to counteract the problems with being slightly pissed.
