Can you buy just the strap bits of Schaller strap locks?

    You can buy the buttons seperately, have done so in the past. Not a huge cost saving over a complete set.

    Doesn't appear as though the locking buckets are readily available any longer, besides which, it would be more economical to purchase a complete set.

    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    Yeah, I did this recently...something like £13 for just two buttons (I was desperate).

    And they were the new type when I wanted the originals...thought they were backward compatible but they weren't.

    Nothing a 7mm drill bit couldn't sort ;)

    I wish D'addario would sell separate strap pin sets for their locking system. It would be useful to use the strap on more than one guitar.
