just happened upon this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1980s-Jackson-USA-Soloist-Custom-Platinum-Pink-Kahler-Trem-Original-Hard-Case/163482109131?hash=item26104b04cb:g:Y1sAAOSwLDlcOMlJ

I would never have looked twice at a pointy pink guitar before but after seeing some of you good chaps posts they are growing on me, what on earth is happening to me?!
Tomorrow will be a good day.

That reminds me that 24 years ago I chipped the point off my guitar teacher's Jackson by hitting it off the wall.

It wasn't a professional lesson either, it was just my brother's friend so made it worse.

Still feel really bad about it to this day.

Cool guitar and I like those trems too. Not everyone does, but I've got a guitar with a Kahler like that in it and even though it's from the the same era it's still working pretty damn good.
May the shred be with you!

It looks great, but I'm surprised it's a Kahler Flyer, the budget version, on a USA Jackson.  And no locking device on the headstock, but replacement Sperzels.  I'd guess it's not the original bridge, but I don't know what it would've been.

I totally didn't notice the lack of locking nut.  That is a little weird

That's 10 minutes from me, I've played it in the shop.
    It's gorgeous.

The locking clamp has been removed and locking tuners fitted. Screw holes are showing from the old ones.

A Kahler locking clamp is an easy re-fit, the tuners if replaced with original may or may not show the new holes. I couldn't say without looking much closer.

It's a fabulous guitar, maybe slightly overpriced but it's hard to say with something that age.

If money wasn't an issue for me, I'd buy it, correct the two mods mentioned above and I'd love it.
