Which chorus?

I'm after a lush sounding chorus pedal that can do 70s and 80s chorus. Looking at so far Fulltone Choralflange, Analogman Bi Chorus, Way Huge Blu Hippo or Diamond Halo. Has anyone have any experience with these?
Cheers
Steve

Arion Stereo Chorus sch-1. Lushest chorus I've ever heard.

It’s physically pretty big but a friend of mine has the mxr stereo chorus and I think it sounds superb.

There is also the Thorpyfx Deep Ogin, which if it is as versatile as the other Thorpy pedals will probably give you any kind of chorus you could wish for

  • I've also heard the Jam Waterfall is good?

After going through a few - various Boss, MXR, Arion, Catalinbread I settled on the Providence Anadime ADC-4, lots of different sounds due to the mix and deep (delay time) controls, very clean and clear sounding
This is the truth from hillbilly guitars!

@mark_jwedge I used to have a stereo chorus and remember it being pretty good. Have you tried the ThorpyFX Deep Oggin?

@guitarmansteve77 no I haven’t tried the deep oggin but I have never been anything but wowed by Thorpy pedals. I have a Gunshot and a Peacekeeper and have tried the veteran silicon and the team medic and they have all been superb. I have gigged the two I have hundreds of times and they have never missed a beat

Analogman is amazing, unsurprisingly. Based on the EHX I believe

The analogue Boss CE5 is great. I had a CE2 at the same time and the CE5 could cop the same tones as the CE2 and has the advantage of a mix control. 80's tones all day.

I've had a stereo Analogman BiClone since 2004 and it is fantastic.

I have a Jam Ripply Fall (containing the Waterfall) which is just as good.

Other notables are the Arion SCH-1, Providence Anadime and Visual Sound Liquid Chorus.

There's also the Cornish SSC, but it's a lot spendy...
    I think, therefore.... I... ummmm........

Yep, the Providence stuff is great.

guitarmansteve77 - I've got a slightly older Providence Anadime ADC-3 knocking about doing nothing.  Drop me a PM if you're interested in buying it  :)

Isn't the EWS mod to the SCH-Z? That's a different beast to the SCH-1.

Me too. It's definitely a marmite chorus sound - very hi-fi and airy but with a big range of sounds, largely down to the exceptionally wide delay effect available.

Well. the Deep Oggin is what i wanted to be the ultimate chorus... all of those cited in here were used as touchstones to ensure we could cover the basics and exceed every single one of them. The Boss CE1 is revered as one of the nicest chorus pedals going..... we wanted to cover that ground and then ensure it could be deeper, lusher and still have that character on tap should you wish it. therefore the Deep OGGIN has a preamp section built in that distorts musically when you crank it which makes the chorus more ear pleasing and useful.

also for a limited time (until i run out) the Deep Oggin is using NOS matsushita BBD and CLOCK CHIP PAIRS that were originally intended for the love tone stuff.....

All kinds of lovely have been mentioned. In the reasonably priced bracket, I have a Danelectro Cool Cat CC1 Which I bought in a hurry up. It has proven to sound very of the period and musical. I wanted an Arion at the time bit have stopped looking for one now I have the CC1. Unfortunately they seem to be discontinued!
