Well.... this was a lovely surprise yesterday. Although, the UPS label gave it away a little bit

I have wanted one for so long and I couldn’t be happier with it. I wasn’t expecting it to cover quite so much ground... it will do light crunch to OTT fuzzy madness. 

The pedals arrival coincides with further thoughts I’ve had about moving the Lonestar on to a new home in favour of the Rift PR18. I’ve been using my amp clean in an attempt to get used to the fact that my drive sounds will have to come through pedals, should I make the move. And man, the Gunshot has made me realise that I can be more than happy getting distortion through a pedal!

And yes, purple stuff sounds better

Thumbs up to Thorpy - I've got the Dane, which is superb with it's additional boost function. And it's purple too. But the real surprise for me though has been the Fat General, which puts the zing and clarity back into lower master volume playing. This  thing is a yellow tone enhancer that gives you "more" without colouring or compressing the life out of your signal. Outstanding

Adrian’s stuff is great. Currently own a Gunshot, a Dane, a Peacekeeper and a Fat General. Had a Veteran too for a while. All are excellent and have a very amp like tonality and feel to them.

Major Thorpe is an evil tone mastering genius.  His pedals are second to none. He keeps pumping out his engineering masterpieces making us all dig through the back of the sofa for change like a crack addict. 

So SC Relics Guitars and ThorpyFX. Sounds like a cracking combo to me.

Im on my second warthog now as I really shouldn’t have sold my first one. Awesome pedals. I love them all and watching on for any modulation he’ll be releasing in the future

I’ve got the colour pretty much bang on, it was more of bit of fun tbh. This guitar is my own model so ill be doing more of these in the future.
