Mahogany body and fat neck, lollar p90s and a bigsby b5.
The Mrs has unlovingly referred to it as the Essex Girl of guitars.

I remember seeing this, a wraparound conversion. I've always loved the Koll styling and would love to try one someday.

Yes, though I’m not too familiar with the history of Koll, believe his one was made by Gene Baker’s crew.

@FreddieVanHalen absolutely. It’s not going anywhere. Since getting it back I’ve put a set of Oil City masterwounds in it and it sounds superb.

As for Koll, they used to sell them at Coda - not sure if they still do. I tried one when I was in Portland a couple of years ago and loved it. Very much on a par if not better than the VOS Custom Shop Jr I had at the time.

Yeah that 339 was a nice resonant guitar, it was good that it found it's way back to you.

Been doing a little research on Koll, looks like an interesting maker. Might have to get myself out to Portland as it doesn't look like Coda does them anymore, or at least they don't have anything in stock.

If you don't bond with the Essex girl and she wants to get a bit closer to home hit me up
