1967 all original - grabbed it from a guy in Ireland. Utterly immaculate - filthy fingerboard but otherwise wonderful.

Woody as hell tonally- got the original Lifton!

    Lovely.

I had a cherry 1967 335, the neck was super thin and narrow at the nut.

What are the necks on these like?

It's not the really thin one, it's the one up from that- blissful to play and very fast action. Possibly could go up a tad.

And then took off with the Garda in hot pursuit, I shouldn't wonder. You really need to stop these smash and grab operations James, you fiend.

Great looking thing :)  PAFs? The gold covered ones went on for a while, perhaps not as long as 67 to be fair...

Bill, that one isn't as small as the one on the 68 that Martin had in the shop.

So, they're PAT badged but pretty much the same, according to Andy @ Richmond Guit Workshop....they sound very much like the PAF's I've played- woody and warm and articulate and not overly gainy

That's lovely, well done! My 1968 ES-330 had a pencil thin neck - quite a shock every time I picked it up, but still very playable, perhaps not to the point of keeping it, to be fair.

I thought it should be about 40mm - you need a new ruler!  ;)
