I was chatting a few weeks ago with someone who knows him and he says he's a genuinely nice bloke.

The programme itself is just trash, but they also exported it to the USA.

I would seriously question their judgement on that.  If that fuckstick is anything other than a complete and utter cnut then I’m the calmest, reasoned voice of harmony on the forum.

We used to use lie detectors with some sex offenders. Carefully set up and only very specific questions ( certainly closed, yes/ no  at least). You had to be specially trained to do it which I wasn't although I worked occasionally with people who were. IIRC if  you took the results as an indicator along with other known factors they could mean something. All of which is a mighty long way from a researcher on JK using one on a serial philanderer.

I don't think the tests are done by researchers, they're done by some kind of "professional" but I've always thought they're a bit dubious.

They always ask three questions, Kyle reads the results of the first two but never the third - he just shouts "you've passed/failed the whole flippin' lot!".  Maybe it's just his gimmick but I wonder if it's a way of avoiding some kind of legal trap.  And they always, always pass or fail all three, never one or two out of three.

Sometimes, if Jaden or Braden is really adamant he never, ever slept with Destiny or Stormy and anyway he was in jail at the time, Kyle says something weird like "if you're being deceptive when you go into the test it'll come up that you're lying".  Which suggests the tests don't actually work at all, on any meaningful level.
