Hi all, I've been using a Boss OC3 alongside other pedals for a few years now, and while it's ok, it's just ok :) Used alongside a Big Muff, it can be pretty cool.
I just saw a video for the MXR Sub Machine, which looks pretty mighty indeed. I use octave effects on clean/just breaking up a good bit. Is this something the MXR can do well?
I like the idea that it seems to have some kind of blend effect as well.
It might be wise to stick with what I have though.

Think there was a Mooer Tender Octaver in the Classifieds the other day? I've got one, and they're very good (effectively a POG).

On reflection, I like my Boss octave pedal due to the blend option, and the direct output, so it's handy for acoustic playing. Some of the octave ones with fuzz sound fantastic though.

I liked it for that too. Hastily sold it but it certainly was useful. And I liked the drive on it too for some storming bass riffs

Yeah I'd rather use a proper fuzz combined with the Whammy or something

    TC Sub'N'Up. 100%. No question.

However... The new Meris Hedra looks mighty fine.
Not much of the gear, even less idea.
