First time ever left a gig early...Manics

Seen them so many times usually great.  

Unfortunately 'This is my Truth Tell me Yours' doesn't stand up to a complete gig.  Not helped by awful sound at Shepherds Bush

Luckily only live 10 mins away.  So disappointing.  Also despite old aged audience so may people reading their fucking phones!!!

I have a ticket for Cardiff Castle - they did The Holy Bible there a few years ago, which is probably my favourite album of theirs. Was never a big fan of this album tbh, but why miss a Manics gig twenty minutes walk away from my house? I hope it’ll be a decent night.

A friend of mine went and said she didn’t really feel it there tonight.

I remember seeing them on their Lifeblood tour, a gig that had to be rescheduled due to James getting ill the day of the original gig. They opened with Tolerate and it was such an anticlimax...

I saw them in Manchester last year. 

Sound was awful, but then again long, huge tin shed arenas are shit for proper music.

On that particular night, it seemed like all their old stuff was played at +20 bpm like they wanted to get home quick!
