    I got offered a Kramer with an aluminium neck about a week ago, I can look the guys details up if you like?

    Was described as a Kramer dmz1000 metal neck. 1979.

    It's worth following ECG on instagram, as they normally post when they are about to out one on Reverb.

    It's also worth joining the Aluminium Axes group on FB, as that seems to be where the s/h ones come up first.

    There's currently a SG on reverb. It's right spendy, but I doubt there will be many chances now to get a John Dwyer like guitar. Unless of course EGC pays the body shape license in the future  ;)

    Bolt ons are pretty meh. Need the neck through design and pickups mounted directly on it to get the proper experience/sonicboom. If they were cheaper I'd maybe see the point, but I'd just save up longer and get a neck through build. 

    Tttides do custom builds for around half of what EGC charges. Based in the EU too. Seem to get decent reviews but I've not played one yet. Think they were about 1400 for guitars.
