Pickup Baseplate - How much difference does it make?

If I fit a baseplate to a Strat bridge pickup, how much difference will it make to the tone, subtle or pronounced?

Thanks!

It will make the pickup sound a bit fatter. On my Strat, improved the solo bridge, didn't like the bridge & middle as much. The better bridge sound won the day though.

Noticeable, but it won't turn your Strat bridge pickup into a Tele.

Got a baseplate on my Strat bridge pickup. Makes it a bit hotter and fatter. I'd say it's a worthwhile mod.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

Fatter and tames the top end. Much better!
