NGD - LP Traditional 2013

strat84strat84 Frets: 322
Just got this in a trade deal and thought it was worthy of a NGD thread :) It's a little flamey for me to be honest but I really like the colour and it felt great to play so couldn't pass on it. Several upgrades including a Faber bridge, gotoh tailpiece, RS Guitarworks kit, dimarzio PAF style pickups and grover machine heads. Only had it plugged in at home but so far sounds very nice. Will be trying it loud this week at band practice  :)

    That is SWEET!
It's got the full re-issue 58 vibe going on strong too :)
The necks on those 2013 traditionals are very 58'ish.

Can be 'premium' tops on trads sometimes, think that one defo is. It's very nice.

That is a lovely catch. My 2014 Traditional 120th Anniversary has the '59 Tribute Humbuckers and the neck has proper and very sexy girth. Very' 58 like.... Enjoy

    Cheers fellas!  ;)

It is very nice and yes the neck is quite fat! The guy had a 2004 R7 which he let me try, quite similar neck size, maybe a touch more girth to the R7's.

Nice looking Les Paul. Sometimes I think that I prefer the recent Traditional Les Pauls to the Standards.

That is a lovely guitar, congratulations.
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

    Thanks!

Sounded really good at practice. A bit brighter/clearer than my '96 standard and seemed to cut through better, especially chords. Really pleased with it  :)
