I think it'll be hard for the OP to use your foot, unfortunately.

But yeah, I just Google search "metronome" and use their one. It's not the most sophisticated of things, but it has easily selectable BPM and adjustable volume. Not sure what else I'd need.

I have a "Planet Waves" stand alone model because I'm a curmudgeon and don't like using my phone for anything but making phone calls.  Plus it's handier to use.  Apparently mine is a cheaper solid state model as opposed to the expensive crystal quartz or something kind.  Mine clicks in time well enough for me.

At the moment I use a cheap Musedo metronome/tuner, had it about 2 yrs with no problem.
I also have a mini-Taktell (you have to have it on a completely level surface and keep winding it up) and an ancient but well-built electronic one.

I use a Korg KDM-3 digital metronome, brilliant piece of kit.
Tomorrow will be a good day.

This has been so much fun lately. Just search any BPM & groove type, and you'll find something pretty damn near to what you're after.

Oooh, drums, thank you, thats well handy! My daughters electric piano has drums in it somewhere, never could figure out how to use it, the instruction book looks like a phone directory.

  • I use the Drum machine built into my multiFX thing. It's really handy as I like playing with the looper too & my timing is apparently awful!

This is a useful tool: https://www.onemotion.com/drum-machine - effectively a programmable drum machine with bpm, time sigs, preset beats etc. I've spent many an hour playing along with it in preference to the simple chirp of a metronome.
