Probably my favourite blues guitarist, huge voice too. 

Didn’t Clapton say something to the effect that when he starts a solo he starts with a Freddie King lick and explores from there and by the end of the solo the best thing about it is still the Freddie King lick.

I much prefer FK to BB King - Both are great but I just prefer listening to FK and his songs etc

Freddie King is sadly unknown to too many people. A fantastic guitarist with a great voice and responsible for some of the best blues instrumentals ever.

Love Freddie a lot. As has been mentioned his voice gets overlooked a bit due to the instrumental stuff.

I know what you mean. I’ve got a a Gibson Lucille semi but I never use the varitone or the stereo mode. I’ve always found that guitars designed to produce lots of different sounds rarely perform well.

The three kings are all amazing.

 Freddie for the fire and agression, albert for the attitude and coolness and bb for the sweet sophistication. Depends what mood i'm in.

3 of the best recorded voices ever as well as legends of the guitar. Salute!
