    Nice upgrades! I also have a Squier Strat ('96, Chinese made) that I would never part with but doesn't get touched. Would love to get some work on it too.

    Did you end up doing anything with the tuners/nut?

    Which trem block did you go for in the end?

    Daniel had a Feline Fatcat steel block - we have one made to measure to match the spacing on the trem



    The tuners were changed to a set of Gotoh ones - greatly improved the stability, and the nut was swapped for an Earvana compensated tuning one

    I didn't realise how much of a big difference the trem block made! The difference is night and day, here's pics of the old and new one, you can really see the difference in weight!
