Pickup advice

Hi Guys

Looking some pickup advice, I have a schroeder double cut, with korina body (Les paul thickness), maple cap and solid rosewood neck and fretboard and trem.  Lovely guitar fitted with bareknuckle mules.

Breat fro low output stuff but a bit dark sounding and was wondering if a hotter pickup would help brighten it and make it a little more versatile (has coil taps too)

ANy advice greatly appreciated

Depending on the music that you play, I would either recommend Montys Paf so another vintage output  lp style pickup, however a very nice & bright sounding one. Or, if you’re shooting for higher gain perhaps something from oil city pickups or Seymour Duncan.

Its a a little hard to be more specific without knowing what music you play & the amp you use.

If you want brighter than a Mule with decent split sounds, I can't recommend the Bare Knuckle Emeralds enough. Rich mid range, very bright top end but without harshness, and a lot of body without being bassy.
