NGD x 2: PRS Modern Eagle Quatro and a Fender Custom Shop Heavy Relic Stratocaster

First, thanks to @StormshadowGuitars for being a top fella and dealing with me being a total pain in the arse (got the PRS from him).

Yesterday was a good day.  I also picked up a Fender Custom Shop Heavy Relic Stratocaster, which was taken in trade and immediately listed but soon retracted, after I played the bloody thing (pics at the bottom) and the PRS Modern Eagle Quatro.  The latter needed nothing but a little rub with 0000 steel wool on the back of the neck to restore its smooth finish.  Feels amazing.

Now, I didn't do an NGD last time I bought one of these - and, for all of my 'serial flipping', it's the one I regret selling (other than perhaps a cheap Korean Schecter PT which I'd heavily modded and should never have shifted), which @doctorpaul benefited from.  However, I much prefer the colour of this to black gold.  

As it stands, I hope to stop this pathological serial buying/selling because it's tedious and time-consuming and I really should actually play more.  Yes, I've said that before.

So, without further ado...

Stunning. I’d personally consider taking the black off the back of that strat neck as it’s a bit weird, but a minor complaint.

Not seen that PRS model before but it’s gorgeous. You’re a lucky guy!

In all fairness, I’ve one custom build, an inherited SG and these two - not excessive at 43 and nearly 30 years playing 

@TINMAN82 Modern Eagles seem to be getting harder to find and I’ve wanted to get one since I let the last go. Well worth it, if you like PRS at all.

Hmm... Strat neck looks like it has a black damp mould issue, not a fan, but at worst a minor tyre kicker issue 
The decal wear/ lack of just looks weird to me.

My coal man is an enthusiastic player and asked if he could try it. 

I must say, it is an odd choice. I presume it is intended to represent heavy play with dirty hands? Wonder if a light rub with steel wool might reduce it a little.
