Clever indeed. The smart engineering & player consideration that has gone into that is very, very impressive.
OK, the video is a long watch, but it is worth persevering with.

Yes, it is plastic, but so what?

 Would it replace any of my favourite 'traditional' guitars, probably not, but it looks like a lot of fun could be had for not a lot of cash (assuming the street prices are right).

I have a injection molded plastic guitar. Its a Switch (Trev Wilkinson brand). It is very stable and isnt affected by temperature variation and humidity.

Its a shame its so ugly, or I might take it out once in a while. 

I quite like non-wood guitars.
