So, Twitch streaming...

I've put this under live as it's just people playing live over the interwebs, but if mods feel it's better elsewhere, then I apologise in advance.

Anyone ever checked out any of the musicians/bands on Twitch? I know Matt Heafy from Trivium streams a lot of stuff, as does Herman Li from Dragonforce, but the best stuff I've found is the odd stream of a good singer/guitarist playing folksy stuff, or a group of guys in a band playing some Sabbath.

Any random browsers here? It seems like quite an untapped little niche as far as live performances go.

I've watched Richie Castellano, one of the current guitarists with Blue Oyster Cult, streaming on youtube.  He uses backing tracks that he's created himself and has midi in them that switch settings on the Line 6 Helix.  It's mostly covers with a few originals thrown in.

He's also got a thing on his channel called Bandgeek where he and his friends do covers and a sort of play a song game show.
