Cutting fret position dots

Greetings folks,
For nothing more than sentimental reaaons, Id like to use some sea shells my wife and I collected on our honeymoon as the position markers on an upcoming build.
Can anyone point me in the direction of appropriate tooling to cut dots from shell blanks?
