Speaker options for Mooer GE200

Hi

Just wanting to know what speaker options would be the best for me to get good results out of my Mooer GE200 effects pedal. I have been looking at the Headrush 108 cab but think this is just going to be to loud due to me only wanting to play at home at sensible levels to avoid neighbour issues !! Would either a single or pair of monitor speakers work better with the Mooer going directly into them ?

Monitors sound like the best plan, especially since that also allows you to really appreciate any stereo settings

Do you think a modest 2000 watts is excessive for home use?

I'd go for powered monitors.

Any recommendations regarding brands? The speakers would need to be placed close to a wall and I believe this can have an influence on front or rear ported speakers?
