He used a Vox ul 4120 head live all through the first couple of US tours with those Ric Transonic cabs (not sure of the Europe based cabs). The head can be spotted on the Denmark TV special also. He didn't go to Marshalls and the HiWatts until later... basically when he stopped using the Tonebender and Tele.
