    EBs are trash
Not at all, that's not my experience over 40 years.

I buy from Strings Direct which is a bit pricier than ebay or Amazon dealers but they're real - free postage over £30.

Same here, Ernie Ball's since the early 80s .010s for years then .011s for last 5 years. No issues here. I always buy from Strings Direct.

^ Interesting;  EBs I've bought lately have been via music shops-not strings direct.
The packaging has been spot on, the strings adeqate-a lot better than nasty chinese but not up to the standards back in the 80s.
Bought Rotos from the same suppliers which were better all round.
I had assumed that it was a  QC issue with the EBs.

If the EBs are fakes some of them are making it into the mainstream supply chain. :s

best deal I've found for Roto blues is 3 packs.

I’ve used EBs for the past 26 years never had issues with them. I trialed others but EBs work with my skin chemistry and can last for up to a year for me before I feel they need changing.
