I want to try an aluminium tailpiece on my Les Paul Custom, which is a 2013 but the hardware is already looking fairly aged.

On the Glued to Music website, the standard gold tailpiece looks like this:

which, if it's a good representation, is not a great colour match for Gibson's gold hardware, and looks much newer than mine.

But the aged gold looks like this:

which looks rubbish. Does anyone have experience of these? How do they look in the flesh? Are they a good match for Gibson gold hardware, and if not, does anyone make a sensibly-priced aluminium tailpiece that is? I tried the Axesrus one and it didn't fit on the posts of my guitar.
