Indian Rosewood fingerboard on flamey maple neck.
Two single coil Bare Knuckle Apache pickups and a splittable Haussel Vin+ in the bridge.
Gold hardware, locking tuners. I swapped out the original gold metal barrel knobs for white ones, but the gold ones are included in the case.
Nut Size: 1.6875″, Fretboard Radius: 12″, bone nut.
Hand made by Gerard Melancon in Louisiana with amazing skill and attention to detail (even the trem cover is beautifully recessed into the body). The neck joint is a joy.
In lightly used excellent condition, just a few small inconsequential dings.
Originally had black pickup covers and those are in the case too. I can even leave in the case the original black covered Bare Knuckle Riff Raff pickup that was installed in the bridge when I got this (or take out the white Haussell, re-install the Riff Raff and sell the Mel for less than £1100 - maybe for £1000). There are a couple of errant screw holes under the cover where, I guess, someone once installed a different cover.
The G&G hardcase is in very good condition but the springs in the catches are broken. They close, but do not spring open.
