Where to find vintage acoustics

What's Hot
In just a few years I hit a big birthday and am planning on spending a couple of grand on a good guitar (possibly acoustic). Where's a good place to look for them to give me and idea of what I could afford?

He also has a very realistic view on prices. NoTom guitars I’m also a fan of. Vintage n rare.

I keep an eye out on NGD posts here and make my selections from them.

  • Vintage and Rare in Bath are great (I got a 59 Martin from them) and Replay Acoustics also looks fantastic (but also expensive, but then that's the nature of vintage!)

I nearly went the same route some years ago, then came to my senses & thought why buy something old & worn out that everyone else has had the best out of.
If you’re close to Devon check out Brook guitars, or look at others such as Dave Loyd or Atkin. Support the pound not the dollar.

Tony at Replay acoustics is a top bloke and the  guitar selection there is the best ive ever seen, and ive seen lots
They  are all completely ready to go.  In my experience the biggest risk in vintage acoustics is getting something that needs “ work” or has had work done which has ruined it . But the ‘good’ ones are breathtaking.  . Replay is full of ‘ good’ ones.
