New(ish) partscaster day

Well, it's really "new strat body" day, but I thought I'd show some of @GoldenEraGuitars 's work

- two-piece alder body from SC relics, in a really nice Olympic White. Milky! Wasn't too keen on a brand new, dipped-in-glass finish so Scott went for a dulled finish. I did buff it back up a bit but it really works.

- neck and hardware from a Classic 60s strat from 2004 (neck was previously refretted with 6105s, with a bit of compound radiusing)

- Tonerider classic blues pickups

- steel block from Kev Hurley

- rewired by myself with treble bleed, new volume pot, etc

It all came out very well! Nice and light now with the new body (7.5lbs, versus 8.2lbs with the original MIM body), sounds great. Might need some final fettling by Feline but so far so good! Cheers @GoldenEraGuitars!
