I'd go for one of these or a MIJ variant. I think I'm starting to like the blue double-bound more than the 3TSB version, which used to be my favourite. I envisage lots of echo and reverb type sounds emanating from it

I like this a lot. That said, the MIJ 60's reissue has translucent dark blue and a nice wood grain underneath. Horses for courses and both are beautiful, can't go wrong with either.

I've been gassing for one of these for a while.  When they first came out, the LPB sold out instantly.  I figured I'd wait a few months, as the prices normally drop a bit.  Then the big Gibson blowout happened, and my money went on that.

Still want one though.
