A neck pickup to use with an ebow

What's Hot
I fancy trying out a new neck pickup. Something completely different to what I've had before, which have always been high output ceramic or A5 magnets.

What should I try if I want a super smooth and silky sound to use with an ebow?

Bye!

If you want super smooth and silky, just roll the tone control off a bit.

It's one of those knobs at the back that you never use, in case you're wondering what a tone control is ;).

(I actually find that one of the few uses for one... I hate smooth sounds normally :).)

    But NEW GEARRRRRRRRR !!!!

Nah currently I've got a pair of Seymour Duncan Distortions in there (I took the OCP out for a bit, fancied a change) and the neck DD is a bit serious sounding!

I was thinking some sort of single coil or p90 maybe... I do have a coil-tap but I don't really like how it sounds these days.

    Bye!
