Got paid to rehearse last night

Not what you're thinking, it wasn't just a shit empty gig.

A band I left 7 years ago and still sometimes dep for needed to rehearse 2 singers and their regular guitar player couldn't make it, and it was the only night the girls could get there.

Anybody ever paid a dep to come rehearse with them if they're not even doing the gig?

I was paid actual money to play along with a bunch of songs I don't know how to play with no requirement to do it that well.

Living the high life.

It's a shame a lot of it will have to go on the petrol I used accidentally turning onto the wrong slip road and doing 20 extra miles of M5 on the way home.

On a separate note the Marshall JVM in the studio was fucking horrible, and I was glad of my Ammoon American Sound being on the board.

I have yet to find an amp that an american sound can't fix.  I've even  played my electric through my daughters karaoke machine on it!
